They were on a bed of leaves. Their only cover were palm branches. We've been having rainy weather and that day the clouds were gathering, getting ready to dump more heavy rain on us.
I pondered moving them to somewhere safer...but then their momma came and didn't look too amused at my being there.
She swiped at my hand and looked ready to tear me to bits when I tried to touch them. So I retreated.As I feared, the rain came and boy did it rain! I went back out there to check on the kittens and sure enough, they were not there. She had moved them, but to where I do not know.
