
They were on a bed of leaves. Their only cover were palm branches. We've been having rainy weather and that day the clouds were gathering, getting ready to dump more heavy rain on us.

I pondered moving them to somewhere safer...but then their momma came and didn't look too amused at my being there.

As I feared, the rain came and boy did it rain! I went back out there to check on the kittens and sure enough, they were not there. She had moved them, but to where I do not know.

I think I know where they are, but I'm afraid to look. If they are indeed there then they are quite safe and dry. I'm afraid that if I take a peek the mother might move them again to some place not so safe. I'm trying to gain her trust first and see how it goes.
